In the 2009 McCarthy report, The Rural Transport Network was listed as a potential service to cut. It is an essential service in the area and nearly the only form of transport for the elderly.

Judo Design worked with the CLASP Community Centre to create a series of 14 cards to both inform the community and create support for their retention campaign. On the front of each card was a local person holding a written message. On the reverse there was details of the campaign and a place where you could sign up to show your support. The cards were distributed in the area and within one week over 2,500 were returned signed. This resulted in a full page article in the Sligo Champion followed by a public meeting with the local T.D.’s.
