Paul O’Connor runs Judo Design from his office in the centre of a large forest, in the middle of nowhere, in a remote region of north-west Ireland, on the farthest edge of western Europe. He is accompanied by his ever patient wife and two fine jack russells. He has over 30 years experience in all types of print and digital graphic design.

His client base is currently from the charity sector, housing associations, medical organisations and Buddhist groups. He has clients all over Europe, the US and India.

Paul is a director of both Bodhicharya Publications UK and The Ringu Tulku Archive.

He is also a volunteer designer for many Buddhist organisations such as Bodhicharya, Karmapa Foundation Europe, Rigul Trust, Jampa Ling and Asral Mongolia.

Paul designed and photo curated the photographic book The Future is Now , the first publication by H.H. The 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje.

In a previous life, Paul was a photographer, video artist and founding member of The Light Surgeons creating mixed media projections for contemporary dance and music events for many musicians, from DJ Shadow to David Bowie.
